Our client, a forward-thinking tech company based in beautiful Coronado, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. General Ledger Guru: Manage daily general ledger entries and make sure everything is running smoothly and accurately, with a sprinkle of creativity.

Financial Reporting: Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements—balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports—while maintaining fun and flair.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Help build and track budgets for some of the coolest projects and assist with forecasts that help guide this innovative company’s growth.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Get those invoices paid and incoming payments tracked. Timely and accurate is the name of the game, but we promise you’ll enjoy doing it!

ERP Systems: Use tech-savvy ERP systems (think NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar) to track finances, run reports, and keep things running like a well-oiled machine.

Reconciliation Rockstar: Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations like a pro—keeping everything in check and on track.

Collaboration is Key: Work hand-in-hand with other departments like product development, marketing, and tech teams to keep the financials aligned with their exciting initiatives.

Audit Ready: Prepare for audits (we promise it’s not as scary as it sounds) and ensure that all your financial documentation is solid, accurate, and ready to go.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2+ years of accounting experience (bonus points if you’ve worked in a tech, startup, or creative industry before!).

Familiarity with ERP software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar).

Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, all the good stuff).

A keen eye for detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat.

Strong communication skills—because finance should never be a mystery!

A positive attitude and an appetite for working with a team that thrives on collaboration and innovation.
