Human Resources Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team in the service industry in Coronado, California. In this role, you will focus on areas such as talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and talent development. Responsibilities Lead talent acquisition activities including job posting, interviewing, and screening candidates Manage onboarding and offboarding processes and conduct exit interviews to identify trends for improvement Oversee employee engagement and retention strategies Assist with ADA/FLMA/WC cases and accommodations Handle responses to all unemployment claims Administer benefits including open enrollment for benefits and new employee benefit enrollment Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records, including tax withholding and benefits deductions Carry out quarterly and annual regulatory filings like census, OSHA300, and discrimination testing Conduct compensation analysis to ensure competitive pay practices Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and best practices Carry out investigations as needed and prepare documentation Coach managers on performance evaluation, conversations, and documentation Facilitate training and new hire orientation sessions Use skills such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HCM, Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, Hiring Processes. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role or related field Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Experience with Ceridian and HCM software Familiarity with Benefit Functions within the service industry Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies Experience in handling Employee Relations effectively Proficiency in managing and improving Hiring Processes Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
