Job Title: Brand Ambassador – Mental Health Activation (One-Day Event)

Overview:
We’re seeking 5–6 outgoing and dependable Brand Ambassadors to staff a vibrant, interactive activation during Chico Pride on Saturday, June 7. This one-day mental health event features a 30x30 engaging experience footprint designed to spark meaningful conversations in a casual, welcoming environment. Ambassadors will represent a well-known public health agency, supporting on-site activation, engaging attendees, and ensuring the area is clean, safe, and running smoothly.
Roles Needed:
4 General Brand Ambassadors – Assigned to specific engagement or activity zones within the activation footprint
1 Lead Brand Ambassador – Acts as the point of contact, ensures smooth operation, supports team logistics, and communicates with the client/event coordinator
1 Floater – Rotates between stations, assists with guest needs, and provides break relief to other team members
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage with event attendees in a friendly, professional manner
Guide guests through the activation experience and encourage participation
Provide information about mental health resources in an approachable way
Set up and break down branded event space and materials (arrive ready to assist at 10:00 AM, stay until approx. 5:00 PM)
Follow safety protocols and represent the campaign with integrity and energy
Take direction from the lead and on-site event coordinator
Dress Code:
Casual and approachable—jeans or shorts are permitted. Branded t-shirts will be provided. Shirt sizes will be collected upon hiring.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in event marketing, public engagement, or customer service is a plus
Comfortable speaking with the public and standing for extended periods
Must be punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
Able to lift light equipment (chairs, signage, giveaway items, etc.) during setup/breakdown
Must be available for the full event duration
