About Me:
I run a small bookkeeping & payroll services business with a stable base of long-term clients. I’m looking for a reliable independent contractor (1099) to help with ongoing bookkeeping and payroll tasks. This is not an entry-level position — I need someone who already has real-world bookkeeping experience and can work independently.
Responsibilities:
Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
Process payroll reports and timesheets (including interpretation of handwritten records)
Prepare and review client invoices
Assist with month-end reconciliations and reports
Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly
Qualifications:
✅ Minimum 3–5 years bookkeeping experience (not just coursework)
✅ Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop & Online
✅ Strong understanding of A/R, A/P, payroll, and reconciliations
✅ Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines without heavy supervision
✅ Local candidates (530 Area) strongly preferred for handling physical paperwork.
Details:
Independent contractor (1099)
Part-time: approx. 16 hours/week (flexible)
Pay: $21–$25/hr DOE
Flexible schedule; potential to expand as client base grows
