Welding on Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Galvanized Sheet Metal
Operation of Plasma cutter
Operation of Oxy-acetylene cutter
Interpreting blueprints
Manipulate Voltage and WFS - wire feed time settings on the Power MiG
Determine ratio of carbon dioxide to argon in their shielding gas based on the workpieces and conditions to achieve a clean weld and reduce splatter.
Connect hoses from torch to tanks of oxygen, acetylene and/or fuel gas
Turn valves to release mixture
Working with this materials 1/2“tubing
Weld clean lines and cuts
Experience with larger sub-assemblies.
Working with electrogalvanized material 10 GA to 18 GA .
Ability to read and interpret Complicated Blueprints and Engineering Drawings.
Responsible for collecting and recording all the Blueprints provided.
Identify flaws in welds or structural imperfections in the metal.
Truck body industry experience is plus.
