Remote:- Till Covid Job Title :- Mac support engineer Job Location :- Carpinteria, CA (Remote till covid) Associate Production Engineers provide white-glove break/fix response, fulfill requests, maintain ticket SLAs, write knowledge base articles, and maintain edit stations and other studio equipment in a primarily Macintosh-based environment. Responsibilities Maintain post-production endpoints, both remote and on-location Act as front-line contact for troubleshooting and technical diagnosis Monitor the environment for trends and incidents effecting multiple users Assist with new endpoint configuration and deployment Enforce and vet post-production software standards Manage software licenses and ensure compliance Address incoming customer incidents and requests in ServiceNow and Jira Provide assistance to editors, engineers and content producers in person and remote Maintain close relationships with the content, production and live actions teams to provide white-glove treatment Work closely with Production Engineers and other teams on the design and testing of future edit station build-outs and studio set ups. Collaborate with the main Helpdesk to hand-off basic compute support requests. Key Qualifications BA/BS degree in related technical discipline or equivalent technical experience 2+ years' experience, preferably in a content production environment Strong MAC experience Strong hardware / software troubleshooting skills Customer service focus Preferred Qualifications Ability to work autonomously and flex with competing priorities Experience in a mixed Mac/Windows environment Understanding of enterprise storage and basic troubleshooting (SAN, NAS and Fiber Channel) Knowledge of the Adobe CC suite and basic troubleshooting Experience with JAMF and/or SCCM imaging and troubleshooting Experience troubleshooting using a command-line interface Knowledge of UNIX, Windows, and network fundamentals
