In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of instructional online courses that reach millions of members each year. The Content Producer is a key stakeholder in the course production process and is the communication hub for all other teams. Producing courses onsite in our Carpinteria studios as well as remotely, this position is on our hybrid team. In this role you will have the opportunity to make an impact on a global scale by producing skills training that transforms lives and organizations.Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects in various stages of development simultaneously (i.e. project manager)
Collaborate and communicate with the Content Strategy and Recording Operations teams to develop, record and publish courses
Work with instructors (subject matter experts) to develop screen capture, graphic and/or live action training courses that meet instruction and scope requirements
Coach new and veteran instructors in writing, instruction, and script development in accordance with LinkedIn Learning instructional design principles
Effectively implement new production styles with instructors
Welcome and oversee instructors recording onsite in our Carpinteria studios, providing an excellent and personalized instructor experience
Successfully navigate challenging relationships and complex courses
Coordinate with post-production team members to develop supporting course materials including slides and course handouts
Manage and problem-solve the logistics for setup, recording, and delivery of course materials
Coach instructors on delivery and instruction during recording
Create storyboards to support visual instruction for courses as needed
Work to resolve quality production issues discovered after recording is complete
Manage and meet course deadlines and release dates
Act as a leader within the production process
Innovate and solve complex workflow and course development problems where precedent does not exist
Perform other duties as may be assigned

2+ years of experience producing educational content
2+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theory, and educational technologies
Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, organize, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with little supervision
Previous experience working with instructors, subject matter experts, or faculty
Prior teaching experience
Experience developing online instructional content that incorporates video and audio media
Experience in technology-related fields, including knowledge of coding, networking, and cloud computing
Experience with Mac and Windows operating systems and a code editor
Working proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software like Office 365 or Google Apps

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $74,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
