The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our healthcare facility which is essential to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained.Our Benefits:

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize patient rooms common areas and other areas of the facility

Follow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and procedures

Collect and dispose of waste biohazardous waste and linens

Stock and maintain supplied in patient rooms and common areas

Respond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staff

You may operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a hospital Patient Registration department physician office setting healthcare insurance company revenue cycle vendor and/or other revenue cycle related roles

Applicable education and/or training can be used to balance a lack of experience

High School diploma GED or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

Two (2) years of experience working in a hospital Patient Registration department physician office setting healthcare insurance company revenue cycle vendor and/or other revenue cycle related roles

Bilingual in Spanish/English

Special Skills:

Thorough understanding of insurance policies and procedures.

Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Able to perform basic mathematics for payment calculation.

Experience in requesting and processing financial payments.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Knowledge of charity care programs as well as the various government and non-government programs preferred.
