The SAU LVN III assists the RN and physician staff in clinical data collection and procedures within scope of practice.This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
One (1) year current experience in an acute or long term care setting
IV Certification
Current California license as Vocational nurse (CT LVN)
Current CPR (CT CPRBLS) Special Skills:
Demonstrate proficient nursing skills and Medical and Ventilator skills
Demonstrates a caring compassionate attitude towards others
Demonstrates ability to collaborate with RN as a partner in the patient care team
Demonstrates intermediate to advanced skills appropriate to the Medical and Ventilator specialty
Demonstrates ability to work in a stressful environment with remaining calm efficient and focused
Actively participates in continuing education programs unit-based task forces and committees
