Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Police - Public Safety Administrative Coordinator in BREA, California. This role is centered around public safety and involves administrative coordination within the police department.Responsibilities: Ensure the maintenance and integrity of all reports and cases, implementing meticulous record-keeping practices. Prepare and process confidential reports for various stakeholders including the public, District Attorney's office, and other Law Enforcement Agencies. Conduct detailed research to address complex inquiries, and redirect callers to other sources as needed. Deliver exceptional customer service to both the public and internal associates, fostering positive relationships and clear communication. Manage Officer Subpoenas and District Attorney requests, ensuring timely and efficient handling of these tasks. Lead and train peers on special projects, fostering collaborative work environment and knowledge sharing. Provide field support to officers during emergency calls, ensuring efficient response and resolution. Organize and conduct Neighborhood Watch meetings, promoting community involvement in public safety. Disseminate information to interested citizens on neighborhood alert procedures, enhancing public knowledge and safety awareness. Assist in coordinating Crime Prevention public displays and events, contributing to community outreach efforts. Requirements Must possess strong skills in ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in Banner Ads Familiarity with Cisco Webex Meetings Experience with Concur CRM expertise is required Knowledge in About Time software Comfortable in answering inbound calls Understanding of budget processes Skilled in calendar management Excellent communication skills Knowledge and understanding of public safety standards and procedures Must be able to pass a thorough background check Must have a clean criminal record Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
