This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven organization focused on equity, community, and quality housing.Job Responsibilities Manage daily maintenance operations and ensure units and common areas are safe and clean Train and supervise maintenance staff; support performance reviews and improvement plans Conduct inspections, unit turnover, and routine preventative maintenance Coordinate vendor work, negotiate contracts, and manage inventory/supplies Respond to on-call emergencies and complete required documentationSkills/Requirements 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, etc.) 3+ years of supervisory experience managing teams and overseeing apartment turnover Strong organizational and time management skills Familiarity with affordable housing regulatory inspections (REAC, TCAC, MOR) Must have a valid California Driver License, reliable transportation, and auto insuranceAdditional Information Full-time, on-site role with evening and weekend emergency call rotation Physical role: ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, crawl, and work outdoors Tools and safety gear provided Training and upskilling opportunities availablePay Range $25 – $31/hrYUPRO Placement is the nation’s leading skills-first placement firm placing and promoting historically overlooked talent into permanent hire, apprenticeship, and contract job assignments.
