Processor & Deckhands for Catcher Processing vessel

California, Bakersfield
Aplica ya

Romanzof Fishing Co - F/V Baranof is currently hiring processors and experienced deckhands.

We are looking for experienced long-line deckhands. Please only apply as a deckhand if you have verifiable longline experience on a fishing vessel; otherwise, please apply as a processor. Only one application is necessary for all positions.

Crew will be boarding the vessel in Seattle approximately on 4/18/25; we will know more in a few days.

Applicants should be aware that they are responsible for their transportation to Seattle.

The demanding job requires long, strenuous 16-hour shifts with minimal breaks. Initially, your body may experience discomfort as it adjusts to new physical demands, and you will need to work on a moving vessel.

To prepare, we suggest viewing online videos about longlining and processing. Unlike other vessels that fish or process, the Baranof does both, extending our fishing duration.

When applying, please provide a comprehensive employment history for the last five years and clarify any employment gaps, including all paid or unpaid work.

Candidates must be able to travel to Seattle at their own cost. To apply, please visit our website: www.baranofcourageous.com
