Review and keep patient records with full understanding of HIPAA regulations/Confidentiality.
Perform and document patient history, consultation and follow up.
Perform and write or dictate physical examination, as appropriate for Gastroenterology/Hepatology.
Assess patient condition and if any question, consult Supervising Physician.
Place and document conversations and medications ordered in patients’ medical records.
Order appropriate diagnostic studies and consultations related to Gastroenterology/Hepatology.
Review, Sign and date all the pathology/labs/radiology data.
Type pertinent progress notes and sees patients for Gastroenterology/Hepatology.
Provide and document thorough and GI related patient education.
