Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Executive Assistant in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Bakersfield, California. As an Executive Assistant, you will be tasked with providing comprehensive support to our Division Sales Director and a large team, managing high volume data, and maintaining seamless communication with customers and other locations.Responsibilities: Provide full administrative support to the Division Sales Director and a team of 50. Manage high volume data, including the creation of pivot tables, using advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Generate and distribute reports to facilitate communication within the team and with external stakeholders. Liaise with customers and other locations to ensure smooth operations. Uphold excellent communication skills to effectively relay information across various levels of the organization. Display high attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness. Utilize Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word to accomplish tasks efficiently. Foster a fast-paced culture that encourages growth and development within the team. Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information at all times. Exhibit advanced knowledge in the use of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role within a Wholesale Distribution environment. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Demonstrated ability to act proactively and take initiative. Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented. High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple deadlines. Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and arrange meetings or events. Experience in preparing reports and administrative correspondence. Proven track record of improving efficiency and effectiveness of executives through proactive scheduling, planning, and organization.
