Job Description
This position maintains and organizes the scrap and cardboard processes in designated areas:
Collects and compacts cardboard and changes out bales in the compactors in designated areas.
Dumps scrap parts from designated areas and maintains accuracy of the scrap trailer weight log sheet.
Cleans and organizes the following areas: compactor area, trash containers, scrap cardboard area, scrap skid area.
Moves out all full recyclable bins, replaces with empty bin and cleans area.
Observes all safety regulations and reports any unsafe working conditions or activities to the supervisor, ensuring that the work area is clean and safe at all times, and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to drive a powered industrial vehicle (training provided). Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred.Entry level demonstrated math skills and ability to work with numbers. Entry level demonstrated written communication skills and legible handwriting.Physical agility and ability to operate basic mfg equipment.Ability to lift and handle50 lbs.
