Description/Job SummarySchedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m., overtime as needed including weekends.Description/Job SummaryJob Summary: Operates and maintains cube lines (filler, cube loader, liner filling, conveyors, glue applicators, lot code applicator). Loads cubes into cube former, load linters into the liner machines, and glue into the glue applicator. Net weight monitoring - monitoring product to ensure net weight is being met. Responsible for ensuring packaging materials are kept clean, and safe. Maintaining quality product (ensure proper counts, product appearance of packaged product) before, during and after packaging. Manually stacking and wrapping packaged product as needed. Responsible for inspection, greasing equipment and part replacement of cube line machines, conveyors, etc. (checking hoses, working condition, etc. of the equipment). Maintaining the cube line machines and area in good clean working conditions. Dry cleaning (sweeping, blowing). Documenting weight checks, label and product verification, lot code information onto products (printed on to the poly film), record keeping related to cleaning, and record keeping related to preventive maintenance. Poly machine operators are responsible for notifying Supervisor/Management of any quality, food safety, or food security issues.Basic Qualifications
Must possess basic math skills.
Must be willing and able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.
Must possess good communication skills.
Must possess basic maintenance skills.
Must possess computer skills related to poly machine controls.
Must be willing and able to climb up to 30 feet.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
Must be willing and able to work in high temperatures for periods of time.
Must be willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
