Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)SUMMARY:The principle objective of the Supervisor Nursing position is provide professional nursing care to deliver Occupational Health Services to ensure team member health, safety and well being in support of business objectives. This position is responsible for maintaining Occupational Health Nurse programs policies and procedures; achieve occupational health regulatory compliance; maintain legal requirements for practice in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts. Conduct screening requirements in alignment with company policies, procedures and standard operating procedures; maintain and manage workers compensation cases while ensuring records and reporting systems comply with OSHA State company and legal requirements; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; participating in facility safety and ergonomic programs; assisting with developing and coordinating health education programs for Team Members; and other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:Education and Experience: Completion of a registered nursing program required. Bachelor s degree preferred; current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required. 2 plus years experience and knowledge of occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.Computer Skills: Strong computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system and in Microsoft Excel.Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and independent decision making and problem-solving skills. Independent nursing judgment and ability to demonstrate broad knowledge of general nursing.Travel: 1-2 domestic trips per yearPhysical: Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds. Personal Protective Equipment Required: When visiting facilities is expected to follow the required safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment.Biosecurity: The jobsite is a biosecurity environment which requires showering before entering the facility and could require multiple showers during the work day. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry; must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, and birds). The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times; must be willing to follow the guidelines in all Cobb Farm/Hatchery Biosecurity Standards.COVID-19:During the current Pandemic (2020), all Team Members will be required to wear company issued facial coverings. Training will be provided to each Team Member specific to their job and their facility location in addition to signing an acknowledgement form they understand these expectations. It is considered an essential function of each job for a Team Member to wear the company issued facial coverings. If a Team Member indicates they will not wear the mask, they will not be considered for the position in which they are applying or any position that requires the facial covering.
