As a part of OptumCare, the largest network of medical groups in the nation, MedExpress is seeking a Full-Time Urgent Care Independent Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Pine Bluff, AR. At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing Physician-led care locally.Position Highlights:Open 8am- 8pm, 7 days per week

Providers typically work 12 hour shifts

Average patient load = 3-4 patients per hour

Full licensed medical team and support staff

Responsibilities include:

Suturing

Splinting

Initial interpretation with digital X-Rays

Incisions and drainage

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Certification by one of the Nurse Practitionercertifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) orbe in the process of obtaining

2+ years of experience working independently as a NursePractitioner

Unrestricted DEA license (or willing to obtain prior tostart)

Must be CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior tostart)

DOT certification (or ability to obtain within thefirst 60 days of employment)

Must be willing and able to assist at other centers

You will be provisioned with appropriate PersonalProtective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role withpatients and members on site, as this is an essential function of thisrole

Employees are required to screen for symptoms using theProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering yoursymptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approvedsymptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order tokeep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and localmasking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building,employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancingcannot be attained

Preferred Qualification:Clinical experience working as a provider in an emergencymedicine or urgent care setting

Willing and able to assist at other center locations inthe area
