Job Description

We are looking for hardworking individuals to apply and roll layers of fiberglass and resin to hulls and decks. This will include use of rollers, brushes and a fiberglass gun. You'll also insert metal reinforcement pieces into the boat parts, do some light sanding and grinding and other duties as assigned. To see our Layup department in action, click the link below:

• This is a first shift position, and the hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
• Starting pay for this position is $13.50/hour
• All positions are safety sensitive

Qualifications

• Be able to identify the different hulls and decks that are to be laminated.
• Operates a variety of power tools including but not limited to scissors, drills, grinders, and overhead hoists
• Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.
• Work with a team to complete daily tasks
• Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.
• Must be flexible and willing to cross train within the department

• Be able to meet some physical requirements such as heavy lifting, bending, twisting
• Wear necessary PPE; including a half-mask respirator
• Work with a variety of tools and chemicals
• Must be able to follow directions from supervisors

• Previous work in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with fiberglass or resin
