Hunt brand to develop new Flatbed accounts and secure an established customer base. You will be responsible for the solicitation of business from new and existing customers to expand business volume and meet margin goals. The Business Development Manager will evaluate a customer's current transportation requirements: existing service, mode, lanes, budget, etc., and propose a custom transportation solution from JBHT's product offerings. Determine transportation products/solutions that best meet the customer’s needs and financial requirements. Establish & maintain a multi million dollar book of regular business. Collect and analyze information regarding the customer’s transportation requirements, lanes, inbound & outbound, pricing, logistics. Conduct on-site visits with existing and prospective customers. Advises the customer regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different transportation solutions (IM, Van, Dedicated Services, Specialized). Foster excellent customer relationships. Solicit freight and grow business from existing customers. Solicit new sales by developing leads and cold calling potential customers.
