We are reopening to fully address the needs of our patients and are in need of an immediate "game changer" someone responsible, friendly and compassionate to assist our family of patients in attaining quality healthcare in a comfortable and friendly environment. We have a small family-friendly office in West Little Rock close to shopping, dining and the freeways where every patient is treated just as we ourselves would like to be treated.

We have a flexible work schedule (32-40 hours/week) that allows time for families and personal errands but otherwise our office hours run from 8am to 5pm Monday through Thursday with Friday appointments on an intermittent basis. The key to this job is to be organized and time efficient so that we maintain a steady but pleasing pace through the day. Lastly, if you like work place drama then this isn't the job for you. Kindness and consideration of others is an absolute requirement each and every day should be happy and fulfilling experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet, seat and prepare patients for care in a friendly manner

Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentist including surgical management: extractions, dental implants, etc.

Obtain impressions, pour models and prepare lab prescriptions

Provide post-op care suture removal, home care instructions, adjustment of interim prostheses, etc.

Clean, package and sterilize instruments and maintain rooms to assure optimal infection control

Oversee inventory and ordering of dental supplies

Discuss and present financial arrangements with patients

Respond to patient inquiries regarding clinical endeavors

Assist with other office duties as requested or needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience in dental/medical office is a MUST.

Highly effective verbal and communication skills

Computer literacy and typing proficiency (preferred proficiency in the operation of Dentrix software)

Excellent patient rapport and relationship building skills

Pluses: Dental implants placement and restoration, orthodontic aligners, prophylaxis and "expanded duties"
