Description We are looking for a Senior Tax Professional to join our team! We have multiple locations including Little Rock & Fayetteville, The role involves providing value-added tax services to our clients, preparing taxes related to individual, partnership, and corporate regulations, and maintaining a solid understanding of tax law principles. Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive understanding of tax law principles and apply this knowledge to individual returns and moderately complex business returns. Maintain an advanced understanding of the tax levels of authority, legal precedents, rulings, and regulations. Conduct research to support a transaction review process and anticipate potential problems and issues. Foster a culture of teamwork and develop positive working relationships with all clients. Prepare a completed and organized tax file, including appropriate supporting documentation for the tax return. Perform basic reviews for individual and less complex business returns. Comply with Firm practice management procedures and systems. Serve as a mentor to Tax Staff and exhibit effective communication, listening, and problem-solving skills. Develop proficiency in the use of computer systems used in the tax preparation process.Requirements Prior experience in Public Accounting and Public Accounting Tax is essential Ability to interpret and apply current tax legislation Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within a public accounting firm.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
