Performs pre-trip inspection on all applicant vehicles prior to administering road tests. Verifies the identification of all documents presented by individuals applying for a license. Performs background checks utilizing the Arkansas Crime Information Center or the National Crime Information Center. Maintains daily logs of the number of tests given and the pass/fail rate for driver’s tests. Provides information to the general public on obtaining driver’s licenses and directs the public to appropriate places and times for testing.
