This position is full-time, remote, and a 1-year contract.What You’ll Do

Work with business partners to assess efficiencies and effectiveness of enterprise responsibilities, ensuring business requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate this information into product requirements for the development team

Conduct comprehensive analysis to produce complex documents that clearly define quality assurance, testing criteria, prototypes, and mock-ups, measuring results in sufficient detail

Identify and recommend information, technology, or process solutions with enterprise-wide applications

Provide feedback to the IT organization from business partners on how to improve IT services and operations

Understand current and projected business results and how the operating plan impacts those results

Analyze and oversee a variety of projects and activities of varying size and scope

Elicit detailed solution requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process analysis, and use cases

Identify vendors, coordinate demos, and guide the decision-making process

Define requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language that is clear, concise, and unambiguous

Be accountable for one or more initiatives, including business, operational, and IT deliverables

Develop communication plans and interfaces to execute responsibilities

Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan

Manage the list of requests from business stakeholders (product backlog) and prioritize them based on organizational requirements

Develop detailed user stories and time-appropriate tasks

Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints

Provide input into long-range planning for the enhancement and implementation of future business systems

Identify and evaluate industry trends in database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for supervisors

Research new methods of system and communication management and recommend new equipment or software to provide the most efficient and cost-effective MIS operation

Respond to tickets from the KACE System as appropriate and record problems and solutions in the KACE System

Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of business systems functional architecture, detail systems design, configuration, or program specifications to deliver IT system outcomes that meet user and organizational needs

Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll NeedRequired:

Associate degree required. Applicable certifications may be substituted for equivalent degree requirements. Two-year degrees require certification

Minimum of 4 years of experience in project-based work structures, application lifecycle models, software development, or equivalent higher education/experience

Desired:

Associate degree plus four years of experience in project management, business analysis, or information analytics, and one or more listed certifications or equivalent higher education/experience

Acceptable certifications include MTA, MCSA (BI), Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP or PMI-ACP, ITIL, International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) CCBA or CBAP, ITIL v3, or an equivalent certification

Physical Demands:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
