Logistics Specialists of Lavaca is currently seeking customer service reps. We are a faith based logistics company established in 2004. We believe in treating our customer fairly. We do not believe in lying, stealing or cheating. This is a salary position with uncapped commission and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for working directly with customers to build relationships.
- Negotiating prices between customers and carriers.
- Review daily orders, track/tracing carriers, and resolving issues as they come up.
- Being fair and respectful to all parties you may interact with.
Requirements:
- At least 18 or older with own means of transportation.
- Education level: High school graduate or GED minimum.
- Ability to work closely with others.
- Ability to process information and make decisions quickly.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve disputes quickly.
- Proficient skills with computers and software including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Gmail.
- Self-motivation to earn more than the base pay.
- 1 year of experience with freight brokering and/or work in the transportation industry preferred.
