Silgan PFC Operator Assistant FULL-TIME $16.10/hr, plus $500 new hire bonus 7101 State Hwy 45, Fort Smith, AR 72916 We are interviewing for Night shift only at this time. Packages Work in Process (WIP) and finished product on production lines according to work instructions and/or customer specifications. Reworks nonconforming product. Bonuses: Quarterly Perfect attendance $1000.00 employee Referral bonus $100.00 Sign-on bonus Overtime incentive bonus Safety-prescription eye-glasses allowance Major responsibilities: Inspection and Machine operation experience is a plus Packages WIP and finished product from RTF and/or Printing lines Runs the scoring machine Runs the scoring machine Reports any non-conformances noted during packing to the operator Reworks nonconforming product in accordance with documented work instructions Responsible for food safety Works 12 hour shifts standing on concrete Must be able to work every other weekend; rotational schedule (2-2-3) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Go up steps periodically throughout the day Work in a non-temperature controlled environment Performs other designated duties as assigned Conducts duties according to plant safety policies and proceduresSchedule - Shift start: 7:00PM - Shift length: 12 hours - Days: NOTE: Interviewing for Night shift positions; 7pm - 7am, rotating scheduling; every other weekend off (2-2-3).Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 30 days - Paid time off - 401kRequirements - Successful completion of all training modules for Operator Assistant position. - Additional training requirements are identified and arrangements for the training - made when needed. - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbsBonus $500 new hire incentive After 580 hours About Silgan PFC As the leading supplier of high-barrier plastic containers, Silgan Plastic Food Containers partners with the most respected brands worldwide to provide shelf-stable food packaging solutions.
