Utility contractor looking for a mechanic. The work would be traveling job on a power line construction crew. If you are interested in learning to become a Journeyman Lineman, this job could offer you that opportunity. The work would be on diesel trucks, powerline equipment, dozers and skids steers. The work includes trouble shooting and general maintenance like servicing, replacing hydraulic pumps and lines, replacing brakes and tires. Fabrication skills and a CDL driver’s license would be helpful, but not required. This is full time year around job. The work territory has generally been in Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas.
