POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This is a part-time to full-time position for an experienced bookkeeper. Minimum requirement is an associate degree in accounting with 5 years accounting experience and thorough knowledge of Quick Books software. Experience with importation and wire transfers preferred. Familiarity with webcommerce and Amazon is required. Experience in the fishing, shooting and hunting industry is preferred and not mandatory. Must desire and need to create financial controls, efficiency, sales growth and wear many hats.
Responsibilities include the following:
Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet as well as maintaining the general ledger
Annual financial report for taxes
Management of the annual budget as well as daily receivables and payables
Weekly and monthly sales reports by category
Weekly and monthly aging reports for receivable and payables
Banking LOC management
Inventory Reconciliation
Reconciliation of import, banking and Amazon charges
Sales Tax management
Basic HR functions
