Affirma, an established and growing IT firm based in Bellevue is seeking a Project Manager II to join our growing Northwest Arkansas team! In this role you will, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and budget. You will oversee acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan. Responsibilities

Keep clients and customers continually happy!

Manage scope, schedule and budget while monitoring project deliverables, goals and milestones.

Directing and managing project teams from project kick off to project close while meeting quality standings and deliverables during all phases of the project life cycle; initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.

Collect, produce, and document project requirements.

Identify appropriate resources needed and keep project team resourcing accurate and thoroughly planned out throughout the duration of the project.

Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities promptly and efficiently.

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion; ensure status emails are sent to project stakeholders on a weekly basis.

Make decisions to optimize customer satisfaction to cost. This requires access to sensitive data – any sharing of this data is strictly prohibited, and failure will result in sanctions up to termination.

Monitor and track project issues and risks; provide mitigation plans when necessary.

Lead team meetings.

Adhere to billable and un-billable policies.

Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Assist in developing team best practices, tools and policies & procedures for project execution and management

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training

5+ years of project management experience or equivalent

Solid working knowledge of current internet technologies

Technically competent with various software projects such as Office, MS Project and Visio

Superb communication skills

Ability to be a creative thinker

Organized, driven, and hardworking

Self-starter who works well in ambiguous environments

Strong attention to detail

Consider the big picture and execute well thought out, data-driven decisions

Assist in implementing new plans and procedures
