We’re looking for a hard-working, reliable handyman to join our team. In this position you will help us with basic repair and maintenance tasks.
Handyman Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity
Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.
Groundskeeping for all outdoor areas: mowing, trimming, watering etc
Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility
Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner
Handyman Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Must have own transportation
You are reliable and hardworking
Ability to troubleshoot any maintenance task that may arise
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems
Ability to complete a wide array of repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
Physical ability to remain standing for the majority of your shift
Ability to drive small forklift is a plus
