Rodeo of the Ozarks at Parsons Stadium is currently hiring for a full time maintenance worker/grounds keeper.

The Maintenance and Grounds personnel will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on Parsons Stadium Arena, grounds, including any or all buildings (exterior and interior). Assists in various maintenance and grounds keeping functions and tasks and assists the Rodeo Office in the performance of various duties. Performs variety of duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior.
Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Arena, Community Building, Office, and grounds.
Mowing, brush hogging, weed eating, spraying weed killer.
Keeping all storage rooms neat and organized.
Keeping office, board room, and community building clean.
Keeping the barn, loafing shed, carriage building, etc. clean and organized.
Keeping all bathrooms cleaned and supplied.
Perform general grounds keeping on a daily basis; insure trashcans are kept empty and clean.
Prepares and paints walls and woodwork seasonally, power washing, hangs banners, performs custodial duties as required.
General repairs and projects as needed.
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one-year experience in basic building maintenance/grounds keeping.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs/ladders, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be dependable, well organized, and have strong time management and communication skills.
Knowledge of help electrical, plumbing, painting, etc will help but not necessary.
