Looking for a professional business minded person to help grow a proven successful business here in Northwest Arkansas. This is a young business, so there is much opportunity here at the beginning. Must be willing to starting out doing easy hands-on labor to learn the basics of Chimney sweeping. If the skill set is right, the person hired will become the lead tech & manager of Northwest Chimney.
Must have a presentable covered vehicle to haul equipment. (Truck with camper or SUV) The hired person will provide transportation and fuel. Northwest Chimney will provide the tools to complete the jobs.
Summer (Mar-Sep) Part-time, 2 - 5 jobs per week)
Winter - (Oct-Feb) Full-time, up to 20 or more jobs per week.
SKILLS AND TYPE OF PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Mechanically & Technically inclined
- Has problem solving skills
- Construction or mechanical background
- Leadership & social skills
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work with Excel spreadsheets
- Willing to attend CSIA Chimney sweep certification.
- Associates or Bachelors degree will receive preference.
Pay is $50 per chimney. It takes appropriately 1hr to clean a chimney. A comfortable working day is cleaning 4 chimneys in 1 day which is a $200 in one day. If willing to work harder, 5-6 chimneys can be cleaned in one day during the winter.
