Job Description

Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, provides direct supervision to clinical staff. Evaluates current processes and procedures and identifies and implements are of improvements while adhering to HIPAA, JCAHO as well as hospital requirements.

Collaborates with Program Director and Medical Director to develop, implement and manage a continuous Performance Improvement Plan.

Engages in staff development, providing general in-services as well as individual instruction and orientation.

Engages in staff development, providing general in-services as well as individual instruction and orientation. Provides staff recognition through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.

Provides case management to a group of patients providing specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient / caregiver education related to wound care management and acts as patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care.

Provides efficient and effective care with the guidance of the physician during the clinic sessions. Able to manage of number of patients at the same time with high energy and organization.

Collaborates with other health care providers, physicians, Program Director, and Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs.

Accountable for learning and adhering to clinical practice guidelines to drive positive patient outcomes. Must be competent in planning / organizing / dependability / multitasking / problem-solving / oral communication / teamwork / professionalism / follow-up / customer service / collaboration / interpersonal skills.
