Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an Quality professional to support our Missiles and Fire Control campus in Camden, Arkansas. Our operations utilize state of the processes to produce and validate hardware for sophisticated missile systems. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with multiple hardware and launcher programs that support our military personnel.Successful candidate will be responsible for leading the designated inspection team at Camden operations, this position will report to the Program Multi-functional Quality Manager in Camden and must have the ability to:Develop Quality Engineering Common Processes and Metrics that are aligned with AS9100 QMS, Program, and Customer Requirements. Support the development of QE processes in support of emerging business pursuits and developing technology areas.Conduct and Support Quality process reviews for compliance to company and contractual standards.Support the analysis of QE process performance Metrics for trends and develops effective plans to reduce or eliminate variation and improve organizational performance.Develop and implement effective corrective and preventive action plans to prevent QE/QI Process Escapes, Improve SAP derived data and metric sets and improve QE/QI Competencies and Performance.Support QMS Organization, Program leadership and Customers through effective communication and coordination of quality status and issues.Facilitate regular Corrective Action Board (CAB) meetings. Prepare weekly / monthly site wide metrics and presentations for use in CAB (and other) meetings.Provide one-on-one or and/or classroom instruction and training to new QE Associates and Inspectors.Qualified individual shall be responsible for direct supervision of all inspection personnel, review and approval of timecards for direct reports.Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.The Locale: Camden is a city in southern Arkansas. Camden is located on the Ouachita River, at the end of the navigable river. Camden is about a two hour drive south from Little Rock, AR. Camden is part of the Timberlands region of Arkansas. Timber, Oil, Deer Hunting, Bass fishing These are words commonly used when people talk about the Timberlands of Arkansas. It's a region with rich natural resources that was discovered by pioneers from the eastern United States in the early 1800s. The abundant natural resources of the Timberlands are still attracting people today. Visitors enjoy the legacy of those pioneers by visiting sites ranging from 1800s log cabins and restored Victorian homes to local museums and colorful murals that tell the history of this land. Communities within an hour or two from Camden include Texarkana, Hot Springs AR, and Shreveport, LA.Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Organized with the ability to track multiple activities and prioritize tasks based on importance. Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE (Quality Engineer) Processes, and related Performance Metrics. Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration. Effective communication skills: Written, oral, listening, presentation, technical writing. Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance therefore must be a US Citizen.Desired Skills: Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline.
