- Develop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics and assessments
- Use data to inform instructional decisions
- Provide students with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needs
- Embody and maintain school’s values, policies and culture
- Develop positive relationships with students, families, teachers and staff
- Establish and maintain strong communication with all parents and share progress
- Show up for critical school events, including: staff meetings, open houses, parent teacher conferences and more
- Pursue challenging professional goals each year
- Give and receive positive and constructive feedback with your colleagues
- Participate in school-wide and individual professional development
- Supporting student recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities as needed
- Write letters of recommendation for students as needed

Qualifications
QualificationsThe following are required of all KIPP Delta teachers:- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid Arkansas teaching license or willingness to pursue state certification, if needed
- Meet Arkansas Qualified Teacher (AQT) status by demonstrated content knowledge in the Core Academic subject area being taught. Please see the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) for more information:http://dese.ade.arkansas.gov/divisions/educator%20effectiveness/education-workforce-resources-data/arkansas-qualified-teacher-aqt.
- Passing scores on the PRAXIS I and PRAXIS II exams in the content area hired for or commitment to completing both tests within two months of hiring date
- Pass criminal background check
- Demonstrated commitment to closing the opportunity gap
