Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)This position is responsible for unloading Rail Cars and for general cleaning duties such as sweeping and shoveling.This job is responsible for receiving in corn, soy, cookies, etc. in addition to all other outside ingredients that come in by truck or by rail. will operate a hard car unloader (railcars), responsible for testing samples of outside ingredients for moisture, must keep work areas clean, warehouse, scale area and rail shed clean. Will be responsible for keeping a neat and orderly Load out area, must have the ability to complete various administrative tasks requiring computer skills, will be required to cross train with dispatch and other positions within the feed mill, have good previous work history, be physically able to perform the job, should be Extremely Safety Conscious, will be required to operate a forklift or bobcat, (will be required to obtain a forklift certification), must be able to operate hand brakes on the railway cars, must be able to lift from 10-50 lbs. occasionally, will be required to help maintain premix stock which consists of moving/stacking 50 lbs. sacks, possess communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to work in a hot/dusty environment, also inclement weather conditions: hot, cold, wet, icy or snowy conditions: must have 100% dexterity in hands, fingers, arms and legs, be able to push, pull, lift, climb fixed ladders, squat, bend etc., practice good housekeeping, will be required to wear required proper PPE and perform all other duties as assigned by management.Must possess a Driver's license, have a good driving record, have the ability to obtain a fork lift certification.
