Front-End Engineer

Project Scope / Components: Building a future state transportation platform . One of the initial objectives is to build the rail app onto the platform. Development Methodology: Agile - 2 weeks High-Level Individual Duties: Next 4-5 months is building the platform (BEs build services, FE builds the UI in collaboration with the California UX Team. There is also an Infra team in India, but these Engineers will play a hand in the DevOps / CI-CD model)

Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): BE won't pick up FE stories, but FE will pick up a few BE stories (connecting services, refactoring services as needed)

FE
  • React / Redux / JS - Gscope is a front end platform that's utilized and OO JS is mainly done by them.
  • HTML / CSS
  • Any JS Framework knowledge i.e. Interactive Visualizations
  • Testing skills / DevOps
  • Cloud - Azure preferred
  • Need to have SOME backend skills with REST APIs and Java (20-30% ideally)
