Position: Sr.GIS Architect (DEVELOPER BACKGROUND)Location: Phoenix, ARDuration: Contract Job Description:- 15 years’ experience in Design & Develop applications with ESRI products
- 5+ years of development experience with ArcFM, ArcGIS Enterprise Environment
- Experience on developing GIS-related applications with ESRI Arc Objects and ArcFM objects
- Having in depth knowledge and experience in performance tuning SDE Databases
- Over 10+ years of experience in ArcGIS Enterprise
- Over 10+ years of experience with ArcGIS Server installation, configuration and development
- Extensive knowledge in ESRI and ArcFM Product suite
- Geodatabase Administration - ArcSDE with Oracle, SQL Server
- Knowledge of client Data Migration, Implementation/Application upgrade
- Experience with ArcFM AutoUpdaters and ArcFM configuration
- Extensive Hands on experience with electrical distribution and transmission system's in the GIS space
- Demonstrated ability to support business end users and production issues
- Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences
- Setting up GIS Environment, performance optimization
- Troubleshooting production GIS system issues
- Ensure that ArcGIS software meets real-world usage scenarios
- Design responsive and intuitive user interfaces for desktop, and web systems
- Helping other software developers with techie matters as and when required
- Collaborate with other developers and designers
- Programing, strategizing and implementing GIS tasks within the given time and budgets of the company
- Executing all operations with agreement to rules, regulations and norms of the company
- Participating with the customers to scheme, develop and put geospatial software program packages into effective use
- Performing the roles and duties of a task leader as and when the situations demand for GIS
- Executing all other roles, duties, jobs and responsibilities of a GIS Architect that require his/her supervision and direction
- Ensures the timely completion and approvals of project deliverables
- Manages technical resources within budget and project schedules
- Identifies project risks and plans/implement mitigation actions
- Recommend new technologies and techniques for application development
- Knowledge of Energy and utility domain is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience with editing scenarios in a multiuser Geodatabase
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good Vendor Management and customer management
- Experience in Requirement Gathering, Business co-ordination and maintaining traceability matrix
- Works closely with other developers and architects
- Strong functional, industry knowledge of a subject
