Looking for Construction Technicians who have experience with:

Irrigation

Plastic PVC Pipe

Experience working AROUND equipment like excavators, backhoes, dozers and rubber tire loaders

Any experience with measurement lasers or transit is a plus

1-2 Years of experience

Ability to travel & have own reliable transportation

Bilingual a plus - not required

TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS

Reliable transportation to work Monday-Friday schedule, sometimes weekends.

Maintain good attendance record and be punctual to work

Understands and abides by company safety standards

Ability to properly, efficiently, and safely work with construction hand tools, and gas powered equipment.

A valid California Class C Driver License

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend training and safety meetings and apply the subject matter to day to day tasks.

Follow directions given by the Field Superintendent.

Work as part of a team as well as work efficiently without supervision.

Always represent the company’s best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Execute lock out / tag out procedures on small equipment.

Properly excavate, backfill and compact trenches.

Cut and glue PVC pipe and fittings.

Safely load and secure pipe and irrigation parts for transport in work vehicles.

Maintain detailed records of irrigation maintenance activities, completed work orders, inventory and time sheets.

Communicate equipment, labor, material requests, and follow directions given by the Field Superintendent.

Assist with accident and incident reports.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What does a WATER FEATURE CONSTRUCTION LABORER do?

As a Water Feature Construction Laborer, you along with a crew will be involved with shaping, grading, and preparing the ground where the water feature will be installed. You will be working around heavy equipment such as excavators, back hoes, dozers, and rubber tire loaders. Other duties include laying down liner, working with lasers to keep proper elevations, rolling out chicken wire over the liner, preparing the work area according to the plans, pumping concrete to create lakes, ponds, stone walls, waterfalls, and bridges.
