Under the direction of the Chief of Security, Security Officer ensures the safety and security of the residents and enforces various rules and regulations of The Palms RV Resort, at the same time giving a quality of Customer Service to ensure our Winter Visitors a carefree stay at our beautiful resort. Also Security Officer is to provide a safe and secure working environment for all staff and to assist all staff members in any tasks they may require.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma
0 to 6 Mos. Security Experience
6 to 12 Mos. Customer Service Experience
Experience in cleaning pools, if not experienced require to learn how to clean pools.
Ability to learn basic parking skills for motor homes.
Ability to serve the resort with courtesy and respect
Requires to work flexible schedule; which includes weekends and holidays
At least 21 yrs. of age.
Good understanding of the English Language
Good Oral and written communication skills
Job Duties and Task:
Enforces Rules and Regulations of resort
A little of maintenance duties that may include cleaning golf carts, checking water levels, and cleaning golf cart batteries. Make sure Golf Carts are charged
A little housekeeping duties that may include cleaning of restrooms in Clubhouse area or Security Post
Security rounds every hour; make sure all doors to offices secured after hours and ballroom secured after hours or after special events.
Help park reservation Renter Guests or Overnight Rental Guests
Taking monetary payment or credit card payment from Overnight Guests
Explain various rules and regulations to Resort Guests; distribute flyers if necessary
Help Resort Guests or staff in any way possible.
Prepares and maintains Daily Activity Report
Writes Incident Reports when need to
Installing and removing of pool covers
Looking out for water leaks, broken tree limbs or any other discrepancies.
Checking Pool temperatures and pools pumps and emptying skimmer baskets.
Required to stand or walk for long periods of time
Perform Other Duties as assigned.
