Camping World is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer – Data & Access. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the company's security infrastructure. You will be working alongside team members to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security posture of our critical infrastructure to protect sensitive customer data, secure company assets, and ensure compliance with industry standards.What You'll Do:
Design, implement, and maintain security measures for structured and unstructured data; including encryption, access controls, authentication, DLP, CASB, etc.
Classify data based on its sensitivity and ensure the appropriate levels of protection are applied.
Configure and monitor audit trails to track data access and changes.
Implement, manage, and consult with IT partners on encryption technologies to secure data at rest and in transit.
Ensure compliance with relevant data security regulations, such as; PCI, NIST, and industry standards.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and remediate security issues.
Interpret security and technical requirements from IT and other business teams to support their initiatives.
Develop, plan, and document requirements to create detection and prevention strategies.
Assist with improving data and access management solutions to protect against evolving threats.
Identify, track, and report on key metrics.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
What You'll Need to Have for the Role:
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a proven track record of handling data security deploymentsprojects, performing security assessments, and assisting with incident response.
3+ years of experience focused in a data security role
Advanced knowledge of data and database security principles, encryption techniques, access controls and DLP solutions
Familiar with cloud security best practices (e.g. - AWS, Azure, O365, Google)
Self-starter who is willing to take ownership and see projects through to completion
Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIAM, etc.) are highly desirable.
General Compensation DisclosureThe pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated.
