Video editor, videographer for on-going contract work

Arizona, Tucson, 85701 Tucson USA

Vacancy caducado!

Hey There,

Thanks for check this out. I'm looking for someone that can help me with my content production and workflow.

I do business coaching online and my work involves creating a lot of video content. Each month I produce daily videos (usually in batch) as well as other videos to support the promotion of my business.

I'm looking for someone that can help with a few different areas of video production that I'll describe below along with the skills/abilities I think are important. If you don't feel that you can fill all roles, that's OK. In your reply please let me know which ones you are 100% about and which ones you are not. I'm not opposed to working with multiple people to get this done.

1. Video Editing

I need help editing the videos that I create into finished videos for YouTube. This could (at times) include some motion graphics, titles, etc. I usually shoot 2-3 camera angles. I also mess up all the time, so you'll cut out all the repeats and garbage lol. For some videos you'd source b-roll footage from stock sites or our own collection for use as well.

Skills/Abilities: Understand how/when to cut out unnecessary parts of the video, creative use of b-roll, good eye for design when it comes to motion graphics, understanding of branding/visual design, how to create/set pacing through cuts and edits. Willing to coach me on how to provide better video to you.

2. Video conversion

The videos I create will be repurposed for several different platforms. We take the videos and find smaller clips to pull out for short form content. We create YouTube shorts, IG Reels and Tiktok videos.

Skills/Abilities: You can watch a video and quickly understand which parts are the key and most interesting parts. You consume Shorts, Reels and Tiktoks on a regular basis so you are very familiar with editing styles and content.

3. Videographer

Up until now, I have shot all my own video. In a lot of cases I will continue to do so, but there are times I wish I had someone to capture more b-roll. I host some events in Tucson where our clients come to town so there are opportunities to grab b-roll and client interviews. There is some opportunity for travel relating to this as well.

Skills/Abilities: You know how to frame a shot and have an eye for detail. You'll notice the trash can sitting in the background and move it before shooting. You understand how to capture great audio and how to use lighting. You don't need your own gear for this, you can use what I have, but if you have your own gear thats great too.

4. Live event video management

I built a small studio where I do most of my content. Once or twice a month I run live virtual events and I run all the video gear myself. I'd love to be able to rely on someone to come over to help with the setup and run the switcher.

Skills/Abilities: Quick on your feet. Understands technology or can quickly learn.

Alright, that's about it. I'm happy to answer your questions too. In your reply, please share a little bit about yourself, why you think you're a good fit, any relevant experience and your proposed hourly rate for services.

I'm open to people of all experience levels because I'm the kind of person that loves to collaborate and provide feedback.
