First its HARD work. Its not easy. And rough patches are not fun. But, if my job was easy I would feel tortured in life. I enjoy the challenge and you need to have that same mindset. If you have a fire in the belly for a challenge, with the mettle to know it will take ALOT more than people being rude to you on a phone to hold you back - that's all that is required.

You're selling internet exposure to solopreneurs in the trades. You sell them value in creating and updating Google Business Profiles, Facebook Business Pages, Linkedin, and Instagram accounts. You let them know if they don't look good online they are working at a serious disadvantage. We don't sell our service as some magical lead generation tool we sell it as a basic necessity. If you're a pleasant sounding young person its a relevant and rather easy sale to make.

Annually our services cost your prospect $500 a year. You walk out the door with $350. No lies told. Open two annuals and that's a $700 day. Can you make that doing data entry at Banner Health or asking me how I like my coffee at Starbucks?
We presently charge $62 a month. You can offer a three month deal with $100 set up fee (if pages need to be built), three month deal without the setup fee, or even a one month deal just to warm up your phone. I love Tucson. I am from New Jersey but this company is Tucson born and raised. I do not want to move to Phoenix or Orange County or anywhere. I would love for this business to stay right here in this warm, artistic, beautiful place. My challenge is that Tucson is a place where boomer hippies came to retire, where the most talented people available much rather finish their manuscript or their painting than chase a few hundred dollars a day. I find that extremely admirable. But that is not the person I need. Clearly, this job requires someone else.
Anyway, I will leave you with this - yes, during this job people will be unimaginably rude to you. Never let rude people stand between you and a taste of success no matter what you do in life. There are barriers between you and what you want and they will need to be dealt with.
