CPA firm Assistant / copy and assembly

Part time to start January 15th. Full-Time starting approx February 15th to April 15th.
We are currently seeking a part-time going into full-time administrative assistant to join our qualified team of professionals and to support our office. The role will include assembling and processing tax returns and other front office support, including safe interaction with clients, and is a temporary position for the 2020 tax season. With a possibility of 2 days a week after April 15th. A range of 12-20 hours per week will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Process and collate tax returns and assist with e-filing
Paperless office; electronically file client documents; set up new files; set up new clients in various software applications
Answer phones and greet clients
Prepare client mailings
Schedule client appointments
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and ability to work independently
Ability to provide superior client service
Strong knowledge of Word and Excel
Expectations:
Part-time position, 12 hours per week in the beginning and going to 40 hours per week by approx. February 15th.
Monday through Friday, with possible Saturdays near end of season.

Answer multiple telephone lines, direct calls as needed, take messages
Check voicemail as needed
Welcome clients into office
Maintains clean reception area and conference room
Copies and faxes
Make client appointments
Make reminder appointment calls
Take payment for services
Update clients contact information in Outlook
Call clients when returns are ready
Present completed tax return package to clients
Processing of outgoing mail and take to mail drop box
Set up client files
During COVID-19 limited in-person client contact, contact points divider protected
General filing
Copy clients documents
Scanning documents
Other duties as assigned
Deliver tax information to appropriate staff when dropped off by client
Job will be seasonal Jan 10th - April 15th
