We are a custom metal fabrication job-shop that makes a variety of small and large parts from carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. We are looking for we are a reliable and independent waterjet operator to run our THREE-AXIS Omax Waterjet. We are looking for someone with a desire to learn and continually improve, someone reliable, optimistic, ready-to-learn, and with a dependable work-ethic who enjoys working as a team. The position also provides the ability to grow into other roles including CAD layout, milling, and press brake operation.

We are seeking an individual who has the experience, passion, integrity, and skill to become a part of our team and be lead operator of advanced metalworking machinery including the following:

- CNC waterjet (REQUIRED)

- CNC press brake (a plus)

Responsibilities:

Operate CNC Waterjet and other machine tools

Process and Program Parts for waterjet Manufacturing

Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on the waterjet

Complete value-added processes such as drilling, tapping, post-machining, deburring, and polishing

Manage stock inventory

Operate sit down forklift

Safely move and handle large, heavy metal sheet, plate and parts using proper equipment

This position requires computer competency and willingness to run these machines. Additional skills required:

- Maintain stock levels

- Coordinate with management daily/weekly to review jobs in progress, schedules and determine priorities and work required to meet schedules

- OK with OT and getting other employees to work OT when needed to meet deadlines

Required Qualifications:

CNC Waterjet operator: 2+ years (required)

Metal Fabrication: 2+ years (preferred)

Ability to conduct post-waterjet operations (deburring, polishing, etc.)

Experience with CNC press brake a strong plus

Detail-oriented would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture

Autonomous/Independent enjoys working with little direction

Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 6am–2:30pm

Overtime: As required to meet deadlines

Pay Range: Competitive pay consistent with experience

Education: High school or equivalent (required)
