We pride ourselves on providing excellent service to clients, so we’re looking for an experienced and passionate legal assistant to help us maintain this high standard. A legal assistant will play a pivotal role in keeping the office functioning efficiently, from coordinating meetings to maintaining complete and accurate files. This person will build collaborative working relationships with our lawyers and paralegal. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, diligent, and can work both independently and as part of a team. This is a challenging role with varied responsibilities. We specialize in elder law issues, estate planning, estate and trust administration, and guardianship and conservatorship issues.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email
Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, making photocopies, and scanning
Create and maintain case files
Screen, direct, and prioritize incoming calls and emails
Required Skills:
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
MS Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Willing to train the right person. Reliability and willingness to work is essential. Part-time/Full-time, and some weekend and evening availability.
