POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform support duties to assist scaffold builder, setter, and foreman.
Task:
1. Follow safety rules, regulation, and, maintain a safe work environment
2. Unload and stock materials such as planks, long iron (guardrails/EX’s), short iron (guard post/clamps/gates/block off).
3. Will learn from Scaffold Builder how to build Scaffold in conformance to OSHA Regulation and company safety requirements
4. Learn scaffold design and tie-ins as you progress in your job
5. Clean up work areas.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be dependable/reliable
Must have basic math skills
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must be able to follow directions and be willing to learn
OSHA Fall Protection Training will be Provided
Reliable Transportation Preferred – Willing to help if needed on case-by-case basis
May Require Travel within Arizona
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to 100lbs throughout the day
Workers need to be in good physical condition and have good eye-hand coordination, a sense of balance and manual dexterity.

WORKING CONDITONS
As in many other construction trades, this work is physically demanding, employee will spend 75% or more time outdoors in extreme (summer) to moderate (winter) temperature, and most of the day on your feet, either standing, bending, stretching, or kneeling. Some workers need to use stilts; others may have to lift and maneuver heavy, cumbersome materials. Hazards include falls from ladders and scaffolds, and injuries from power tools and from working with sharp tools, such as utility knives.
