I own and operate a small rental company focused on sustainability and permaculture. I am looking for a person to help me weed and do some landscape clean up tasks in the amphi neighborhood near Prince and Stone. At this time, I am only looking for help for one or two shifts this week or next. But I am looking for a person who is interested in helping again in the future from time to time as I have ongoing needs throughout the year.
THE JOB
This is about doing selective weeding by hand, often in between other established plants. No tools needed, just the ability to bend over, and to work on the move and low to the ground. You'd work alongside me, and I can explain what to pull and what not to pull. Other landscape clean up tasks might also come up as needed, such as picking up trash, clipping some vegetation, and cleaning up dead plants. You won’t need any specific tools, but you’ll need a pair of gloves, closed toed shoes, and a hat. In the summer heat, my preferred schedule is 5:30 am to 8:30 am. Depending on the weather, it could also be till 10:00.
PAY
Start pay is $16.50.
