Deployed Resources is seeking Bilingual Caregivers / Shower Monitors in Tucson, Arizona. The Caregiver is responsible for monitoring the shower area and caring for children and infants.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Maintain a safe working environment, observing and encouraging adherence to safety rules and health guidelines
Caregivers’ responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Assist with the general care of children to include monitoring, changing diapers, assisting with toilet use and hand washing, feeding, and tending to other similar basic needs of children as they arise
Assist as necessary in monitoring, caring, and bathing of children
Shower Monitor’s responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Monitor all detainees going into and out of the showers at all times, from start to finish, taking care to adhere to DHS regulations
Distribute towels and hygiene items, as needed
Ensure that Migrants stay within time limits
Disinfect shower stalls between uses
Communicate effectively and frequently with staff
Address any health needs or concerns during the shift

Skills and Specifications:
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
Ability to hear and see well enough to monitor children and always keep them safe
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Ability to learn and follow safety instructions
Excellent communication skills
Flexible scheduling to include weekends and holidays
Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing environment
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment and field environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other presentation materials. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb and stand. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs may occur.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, contract position. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends is required based on contract needs.

Estimated 5%
Required Education and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years old
High School diploma (or equivalent) is required
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder for 3 of the last 5 years
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
Experience and training in the following caregiver areas of responsibility corresponding to the level required of caregivers employed at a State Licensed Daycare Operation:
Communication skills :
Personal care and toileting
Basic Hygiene and Basic Infection Control
Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment
Basic personal and environmental safety precautions
Emergency procedures, including basic first aid
Knowledge of Abuse and Neglect
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must have a limited or full background investigation (BI) clearance
Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, a background check, and provide proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
