- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Hospitality industry
Job Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of special event operations ensuring execution of events and maintaining exception service standards
- Provide leadership and training to banquet staff, with positive and efficient team environment
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures
- Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for events, including nights and weekends
- Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute various functions, including weddings, corporate events, social gatherings and themed celebrations
Skills/Abilities:
- Train employees
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong PC skills with a working knowledge of including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Office and Outlook
Must be able to work nights and weekends. Schedule, Tuesday's thru Saturday's, and as needed.
